3/32" ID black ink hose kit – Canon Océ Arizona – 3010114434

The 3010114434 hose kit contains 4.5 m of Océ 3010104652 tubing, the black ink tubing with an internal diameter of 3/32", which is fitted throughout the fluid circuit of Canon Océ Arizona printers from the 4xx series to the 22xx series. This is the tube found on the eight ink reservoirs on the carriage, on the ink filters in the left-hand bay and on the purge valves of the meniscus unit.

The tube fits onto the 3/32" barb fittings of the Océ Luer-Lock range (male 3010104770, angled 3010107689, female 3010104451) and is secured by the coloured Luer rings for each channel. Its external diameter of 5/32" (4 mm) is the size for which these rings are designed, ensuring a long-lasting seal when used with UV ink without the need for clamps or adhesive.

Supplied as a 4.5 m kit to be cut to length (tube only, without fittings), it enables the entire tank pipework on a trolley to be replaced: the Océ 3010112969 pipework diagram specifies 8 sections of 310 mm (tank supply → print head) and 8 sections of 350 mm (print head return → tank), totalling approximately 5.3 m including the filter connections. Genuine Canon Océ part, made from PE material compatible with the original circuit.

Function

• Supplies ink to each print head from its carriage reservoir (310 mm section)
• Ensures ink returns from the print head to the reservoir (350 mm section)
• Connects the ink filters in the left-hand bay to the reservoir supply circuit
• Connects the meniscus block bleed valves and the degassing lines to the reservoirs
• Locks onto 3/32" barb Luer-lock fittings without the need for clamps or adhesive

Possible symptoms of wear

• Ink seepage or dripping at the base of a reservoir or from a Luer connection
• Hose hardened, bleached or cracked by UV ink, which no longer locks into the Luer ferrule
• Air bubbles in the circuit, a channel becoming blocked, missing nozzles after purging
• Crushed or kinked tubing blocking the flow in a channel (supply or return fault)
• Ink level error on a carriage reservoir (sensor 3010107593) due to air ingress

Replacing tube 3010104652 restores a sealed and primed ink circuit between the tanks, filters and printheads; it is advisable to replace the carriage’s entire tubing system when replacing a printhead or tank.
