Pumps

The pump circulates ink, generates the vacuum that cleans the printheads, or extracts waste ink. It is a wearing part: diaphragms, seals and valves tire with every cycle.

We stock ink, air, vacuum, circulation and coolant pumps — diaphragm or peristaltic — as well as suction turbines, for Canon Océ, Mimaki, HP, Efi Vutek, Fujifilm, Agfa and Epson printers and plotters. New and reconditioned parts, shipped from Europe.

Pumps for large format printers and plotters

More than 90 pump references are available from stock, as new parts and as reconditioned parts, for the main large format digital printing platforms.

What this part does

  • Circulates ink between the tanks and the printheads
  • Generates the vacuum required to purge and prime the nozzles
  • Draws waste ink to the waste tank during maintenance cycles
  • Holds the media down on flatbed tables
  • Circulates coolant on machines with UV and LED lamps

New or reconditioned

  • Every product page states the condition of the part: new or reconditioned
  • A reconditioned pump costs less than a new part and extends the life of the machine
  • On older or discontinued references, reconditioned is often the only option still available
  • New and reconditioned are ordered the same way and ship from the same European stock

How to choose yours

  • Identify the circuit involved: ink, hold-down vacuum, waste extraction or cooling — these are not the same pumps
  • Check the supply voltage: both 24 V DC and 200-220 V AC exist depending on the model
  • Check what the reference includes: some pumps ship with their motor, cable or solenoid valve, others bare
  • On a diaphragm pump, check whether a maintenance kit is enough before replacing the whole assembly
  • The manufacturer part number remains the safest criterion: it opens every product page

Brands and machines covered

  • Canon Océ — Arizona 350, 12xx, 22xx and 61xx, and Colorado
  • Mimaki — JV, CJV, UJV and UJF series
  • HP — Latex and Scitex, including the FB and TJ series
  • Efi Vutek — QS and UltraVu — and Fujifilm Acuity
  • Agfa, Epson SureColor and GS6000, Mutoh, Roland, Oki-Seiko, Zünd, swissQprint and HandTop

When to replace it

  • Ineffective purging: nozzles no longer clear after several cycles
  • Insufficient vacuum, media lifting off the table
  • Noisy pump, vibrating or no longer drawing
  • Ink leaking from the pump body or the fittings
  • Machine overheating when the cooling circuit is the one at fault

A failing pump shows up first in purge quality: acting early avoids damaging the very printheads the pump is meant to clean.
