The 399-965 media sensor (S Class Assy Media Sensor) is fitted to Summa S Class cutting plotters.
It detects the presence, edge or position of the media on the plotter, sends a signal to the control board and helps automatic media management and cutting accuracy. A failing sensor causes offset cuts.
