The DF-49471 carriage home position sensor (CR HP Lever Sensor) is fitted to Mutoh RJ-900C and many Valuejet printers (6xx to 26xx series and 426UF).
It detects the home (reference) position of the carriage and passes the information to the control board. A failing sensor causes homing errors.
