Power Supply Board – Mutoh Valuejet – DG-43172

The DG-43172 power supply board (Power Supply Board Assy) is the switching power supply unit fitted in the rear electrical compartment of Mutoh Valuejet printers. It receives 230 V mains power via the machine’s filtered socket and supplies the necessary DC voltages to the main board, motors, heaters and carriage electronics.

Manufactured by Nichicon based on Epson power supplies of the same generation, it incorporates the T8AH/250V mains fuse, the 2R2A472 power relays, the switching transformers and the regulation stages. Its stability directly affects the printer’s start-up and electrical reliability.

Supplied as a complete assembly (Assy), it fits as a direct replacement without the need for any configuration. Mutoh has updated the part number for this board across successive series: DG-41069, then DG-43172, then DG-46873 (current part number, fitted as standard on recent machines). These three part numbers refer to the same printed circuit board with the same connectors and are interchangeable; only the Nichicon manufacturer’s code and the production batch differ on the label.

Function

• To convert 230 V mains power into regulated DC voltages for the machine’s electronics

• Printer no longer switches on, control panel is off
