Hönle EVG EPS60 electronic ballast / UV lamp ballast – Durst Rho 750 – Ref. 31127

The Hönle EVG EPS60 electronic power supply (ref. 31127.0) is the ballast that powers and regulates the UV lamp on the Durst Rho 750 flatbed printer. Manufactured by Hönle UV Technology, this unit provides the power required to ignite and operate the curing lamp.

Designed for a 7200 W (16 A) lamp on a three-phase 400–480 V, 50/60 Hz power supply, this electronic ballast (EVG) delivers a square-wave output that provides higher UV output than a conventional transformer/inductor ballast of the same electrical power rating.

The Durst Rho 750 uses two identical ballasts, one per UV lamp (on the left and right sides of the carriage, for bidirectional printing curing). They share the same interchangeable part number: this power supply is therefore sold individually and can be fitted to either side.

Supplied as a fully tested unit (with original control connectors and power terminals), it directly replaces the machine’s original UV power supply and can be commissioned without any modifications.
