TAKE-UP REEL SENSOR MODULE

The Take-up reel sensor module, part number B4H70-67047, is the sensor module for the take-up reel on HP Latex 300 Series printers. It is sold here as a complete set comprising right and left modules: the right-hand module incorporates the sensor with its cable and connector; the left-hand module is the symmetrical bracket, without a cable, in accordance with the original HP design.

This part plays a critical technical role in the machine’s operation. Replacing it restores the equipment to its original performance.

Function of the component

• Brackets mounted on the printer’s feet, on either side of the take-up unit, which hold the tension bar (dancer)
• The sensor in the right-hand module detects the position of the tension bar, and thus the size of the
media loop• Starts and stops the take-up motor to maintain
consistent winding tension• Ensures clean, smooth automatic winding during
