Product description
Ho Hsing RB20-51U Vacuum Pump – Mimaki CFL-605RT
The Ho Hsing RB20-51U vacuum blower is the vacuum unit that holds the media in place on the table of the Mimaki CFL-605RT flatbed cutting plotter. This side-channel compressor (Ring Compressor) generates the vacuum required to hold the sheet in place during cutting and ensure media stability.
A single-phase regenerative blower, it draws air through an intake filter and ensures a constant flow rate without mechanical contact with the air stream. This oil-free technology guarantees a smooth and quiet vacuum, essential for cutting precision.
Supplied as a complete, cabinet-mounted unit (including intake filter and connection), it directly replaces the machine’s original suction turbine and can be commissioned without any modifications.

Compatibility and use
- Mimaki CFL-605RT
Function
- Generates the vacuum required to hold the substrate on the cutting table
- Holds the sheet in place to prevent movement during cutting
- Ensures a constant and steady suction flow
- Filters the air drawn in via the built-in intake filter
Possible symptoms of wear
- Loss or reduction of suction on the cutting table
- The support moves or lifts during cutting
- Abnormal noise, vibrations or overheating of the fan
- Inaccurate or misaligned cuts due to poor media hold
Replacing the vacuum blower restores the nominal vacuum and ensures the media is held perfectly in place, which is essential for the precision and reliability of the cuts.
