The M007895 Sub-Tank Assy is the buffer tank (sub-tank) mounted directly above the printhead on the Mimaki UJV-160 hybrid UV printer.

Its role is to regulate the ink flow between the main supply circuit and the printhead, keeping a constant negative pressure essential to steady drop ejection. The sub-tank integrates a protective filter that retains particles before they reach the nozzles, and a float sensor that controls the opening and closing of the supply valve.

Supplied as a complete assembly (sub-tank + filter + sensor), it installs as a direct replacement for the original part. The reference M012080 is the updated replacement version of this same sub-tank.
