The Leroy-Somer LS63/T gearmotor is a drive unit fitted as standard on a Sorim Texpro transfer calender. It transmits low-speed, high-torque rotation via a single chain sprocket fitted to its output shaft.
The unit comprises a Leroy-Somer three-phase asynchronous motor (0.12 kW, 1380 rpm at 50 Hz) coupled to an integrated worm gearbox. This design delivers high torque at low output speed and ensures quiet, smooth operation.
Supplied as a complete unit (motor + gearbox + sprocket), ready to be fitted in place of the original equipment.
