RF Absorber (Flushing Filter) – Mimaki JFX200 – SPC-0768

The SPC-0768 flushing absorbent pad is the consumable that collects ink sprayed from the print heads during flushing cycles on the Mimaki JFX200. It is housed in the flushing unit (running flush assembly), beneath the stainless steel filter of the running flush cap.

During each cycle, the print heads discharge a small amount of ink into this unit. The pad retains the ink and prevents it from rising as a mist towards the print bed and the nozzles. A saturated pad loses its absorbency and becomes a source of contamination itself.

This product is a maintenance consumable sold in packs of 20 pads. A machine takes only one pad at a time (Mimaki mechanical part M700856, reference 5 in the ‘Running flush assy’ assembly): the pack therefore covers several years of preventative maintenance.

Replacing the pad as soon as it becomes saturated ensures effective flushing and protects the print heads, the cost of replacing which is incomparably higher than that of this consumable.
