The DG-40360 control panel FFC ribbon (Panel FFC) is the flat flexible cable that links the control panel (user interface) to the main electronics of the Mutoh ValueJet VJ-1604 printer.

This 28-pin, 232 cm FFC cable carries the command signals between the panel and the internal boards. A damaged or partly broken cable causes an unresponsive panel or a total loss of the interface.
