The DF-43968 ink ID boards (Ink ID Board Assy, 4 pcs) are fitted to many Mutoh printers (Blizzard, Rockhopper, RJ-8000 Falcon II, Spitfire, Valuejet and Viper series).
They read the identification chip of the ink cartridges and pass the information to the control board. Worn boards leave the cartridges unrecognised.
