3 V lithium button cell – Large-format printers – CR2032

The CR2032 lithium button cell powers the backup circuit on electronic circuit boards when the machine is switched off. It is found on the motherboards of control PCs, RIP stations and certain control boards for large-format printers and plotters.

It maintains the real-time clock (RTC) and the BIOS/CMOS memory once the mains power is cut off. A battery in good condition ensures a restart without any loss of date, time or start-up settings.

The battery is sold on its own, without a holder or connector. Before ordering, please check that your old battery is marked CR2032 and that it clips into a holder without any soldered tabs.
