The Clamp Media Plate R (part no. 1000001524) is the right-hand media clamp plate fitted to Roland large-format printers/cutters. It keeps the right-hand edge of the media flat during printing and cutting, preventing the media from lifting or curling.

This media guide simultaneously protects the edge of the media and the print head by preventing the media from curving upwards in the carriage path. Proper edge support prevents head strikes (collisions between the head and the media), which can cause irreparable damage to the print head.

Genuine Roland DG part, sold individually (right-hand side). The left-hand side plate (L) is available under part number 1000001523.
