The DG-42958 main board (Main Board Assy) is fitted to Mutoh printers.

It controls and coordinates all the machine electronic functions (motors, carriage and heads), interprets the print data from the RIP/computer and turns it into print commands, manages the communications between the electronic sub-assemblies and stores the firmware and configuration. A failing main board prevents start-up.
